    Perfect

I would pointed out food and service, that were very good and the hotel was REAL NICE. Property was in the central location. Also, Quail Canyon Golf Course was reachable within a 5-minute walk. I liked my stay.

    Great

We really liked the option of the larger "villa" room. It was especially nice because it had a private patio/yard. The pool was also great! It was very clean and perfect temperature.

The advertised buffet breakfast was actually at the hotel next door - and we didn't like having to go over there. I would have made other food arrangements or picked a different hotel. Also our room had a "kitchenette" - but there weren't any utensils of dishes available for use.

    Nice

The cost of the room and the location.

The heating system. old furniture, a bed that creaked and no real amenities except breakfast at the hotel next door.

La Posada was easy to reach from I 10 traveling by car. The building is attractive and offers a central garden area with pool and jacuzzi. There are outdoor tables with shade providing umbrellas (which are also lighted at night) for casual dining or just getting together. While in Tucson we visited the Desert Museum, went horseback riding, hiked in desert areas, found local shops operated by local artists and artisans. La Posada is family friendly and offers a quiet respite in the central garden area at the end of the day. The breakfast incluided in the price of the room was easily accessible at the Hampton Hotel next door. The food offered was freshly prepared, included fresh seasonal fruit and an ample selection of breakfast foods. The decor in that area represented reproductions of local and Mexican artists (i.e. Diego Rivera9 and local artists attractively arranged.

I had trouble accessing wifi from my room on the ground level.

    Great

Very pretty boutique hotel for a very affordable price. Unique rooms. Requested late checkout, and the staff member was extremely accomodating and friendly.

Staff did not put towels by the pool which was quite frustrating and jacuzzi looked like it needed a heavy dose of chlorine. My main complaint stemmed from a phone call that I received the day before my check in, telling me that they were re routing me to another hotel as it was too booked to accomodate my reservation. When I explained that if they looked on the reservation, there were actually 2 rooms, the staff member said, "Ok, we will take care of it and you are fine to stay at the La Posada." When we arrived, the girl at the front desk tells me that they were sending me to a Best Western down the street as they were booked, but they were comping the rooms. Though that was very kind, we did not want Best Western accomodations and wanted to stay at the La Posada due to the vacation feel of the resort. We left and went down the street to the Best Western to find out that they could not offer us the same kind of accomodations in our room that we had selected when booking. (2 Queen Beds). Came back to the resort and the girl then tells us that we can stay at the La Posada but not for free. When I asked why she did not give me this option when I tried to check in, she said, I am just trying to do my job based on what my manager told me. She told me that there were no other options earlier and that she had no record of someone calling me the day before!! Wasted a good hour of my day going back and forth and left a bad taste in my mouth. I had planned on asking for the manager in the morning, but was greeted by a wonderful gentleman the morning of the 17th at the front desk and decided that the rest of our stay was pleasant and did not want to further the issue.

Room was small but charming and I loved the decor. I slept with the sliding door open to the balcony and it was peaceful and quiet. Pool and garden areas were pretty, families seemed to be enjoying themselves!

Friendly staff even though we arrived late at night. Nice rooms and good pool area. Booked.net customer service was great with this reservation. Had initial issues with the reservation but they directly resolved this with La Posada.

    Very good

Location was good; having an outdoor seating area and restaurant on site was very nice. Bed was comfortable; lots of pillows; nice small seating area and tv worked fine. Pool and outdoor areas were nice.

Rooms are a bit dated - could use some revamping. Bathroom was small; absolutely no utensiles in kitchenette - at least some silverware, bottle opener, a few plates would be nice. Internet connection did not work well at all; that was a major inconvenience and was not fixed quickly. Pool area/wall was missing capstones - again, just needs some tlc - but room was clean - and not bad for the price.

    Very good

Rooms were clean, but not exactly cozy, with ceiling fans whirring six inches above your head and an effective but noisy AC system. The beds were a bit too soft to my liking, but all in all worth the $79 rate sector at Booked.net. The normal price of $110 or whatever makes it less compelling.

No phones in room, broken ice machine, no light switch by door!

    Nice

The pleasant room, balcony and beautiful pool area plus the inviting front entrance and lobby areas.

The room was not made up one day of our stay. Had to request a second washcloth everyday. Hand towel & coffee supplies not available two days. The airconditioner was noisy.

I have stayed there before and liked it then. I like the fact that it is what one would expect to find in the desert....an oasis with mountain views.

I can't think of a thing I did not like. It is what I expected, since I have been there in the past.
